From kindergarten to our workplace, we all use adhesives and glue for a number of purposes. Be it making the school project or fixing the broken toys, or preparing the craft items for recreational sessions or office reports customization, adhesives find vast application in our daily lives. But not always does the glue do its work effectively. Many times, the items we try to stick get detached again and again. Like trying to fix your broken favorite coffee mug or joining the torn pieces of your notebook. We curse the poor quality of the glue, whereas in reality, we do not realize that we are not using the right type of adhesive required for the work.

Right type of Glue?

Yes! There are a number of adhesive types available in the market, developed to do different tasks. For example, the glue which is meant for joining paper and Styrofoam cannot work well on plastic or glass items. Or the adhesive used for fixing wooden or metal articles, will not stick papers but burn them. The various prototypes are developed with different formulas and with the use of different constituents depending upon the strength and other characteristics required in the resultant. Each kind has a different formula and is expected to perform specific kind of adhesion.

There are adhesives available for a number of purposes. Some of the widely used glue prototypes are:
  1. Costume and Mask Glue: For those who like to design their own costumes and masks for Halloween or masquerade parties, the costume glue is a best friend. You can customize the dress without any need of sewing or stitching.
  2. Tiger Bond: The glue gets its name because of the super hold and strong adhesion it offers. This prototype can be used to fix any article made of wood, metal, glass, tile, cement, brick or any similar hard material.
Apart from these, there are many other kinds of adhesives available in the market like quilters choice glue, quick grip, kids choice glue and others. Also these are easily available on websites of many adhesive companies and distributors.
